Pain, Arthritis & Headaches

Pain Issues

Everyone experiences pain. Pain is simply your body telling you something is damaged. And it tells you this by sending messages through your nerves to your brain.

You have nerves all over your body—extending from your brain and spinal cord to your skin, muscles, and internal organs. Your nerves communicate with your brain by sending electrical signals. All sensations, good and bad, travel from different parts of your body to your brain through these electrical signals in your nerves, protected by your spine.

Arthritis

Arthritis is a condition characterized by joint inflammation. Joint injury can be caused by trauma or by the wear and tear of aging. Arthritis is one of the most widely misunderstood conditions. When one hears this word, they envision a future with crippled and twisted joints. However "arthritis" is a very general word that encompasses many different conditions from the benign to the severe.

Headaches: Migraine, Cluster & Tension

Some estimates suggest that 25 percent of the population has a headache right now. Because headaches are so common, most people think it is a normal part of life. Headaches, however, are a sign that something is wrong. We know that stress, toxic fumes, certain foods and preservatives and even alcohol can cause headaches. A frequent and overlooked cause of headaches is the malfunction of spinal bones in the neck and upper back.

Testimonials

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "I was not healthy for a 23 year old. I was in constant pain and depression as a result. I was most impressed by the kind and caring staff because I didn't want my healthcare provider looking at me as just another patient."
  • "With maintenance I seem to stay pain free."
  • "I was suffering from just literally aching all over. Previously, I woke every morning to neck pain and that is no longer the case. I have definitely noticed a marked improvement in my overall physical health."
  • "When I started coming to the Chiropractic Health Center, I was taking pain medication to sleep at night, and pain medication to work during the day. I was experiencing headaches at least four out of seven days a week. I cannot believe the improvements I have felt in such a short time. I have more energy than I have had in almost two years. I wish I had come to this office before now."
